the day Mrs Howard introduced mine, minue to our class room.
Quite some time ago Mrs Howard introduced this thing called minue, minue to our room. She did this because she knew it would be a great and fun P.E. activity. The way she did it was she saw it on Facebook. When the pupils came to school she showed them and me the video. She taught us in term 2. We had to practice for atleast 3 weeks. But soon we mastered it in the second part of term 2. Most of the class is better then our buddy class wich is R.M. 22. The way we learnt it was we said... front, side, front, side, front. In some bits some people did get stuck. We are wanting to show the whole school.

A Puppet Show
WALT create and perform a puppet show.
Room 10/11 had a great opportunity to create and perform a puppet show from scratch! They had to write the script, make the stage and props such as a butterfly, a cocoon, a caterpillar and different types of foods. They practised for a few weeks and developed their acting and understanding of stage performance. Take a look at Ryder's group’s performance. (Please click the title above the picture)
The very big fat caterpillar
Setting description: a brown house is sitting on a hill and butterflies are flying in the sky. The sun is bright and shining on the worms. The jewellery is glowing in the ground.
(a caterpillar is coming out of an egg, wiggling back and front and its ears and head)
Narrator: once upon a time there was a little egg pop! A little caterpillar came out of an egg.
Narrator: he was so hungry so he ate his egg and found some leaves.
Narrator: first he ate a strawberry.
Narrator: next he ate two bananas.
Narrator: then he ate three watermelons. After that he ate four apples.
Narrator: lastly he ate four lollipops again!
Narrator: when he was done eating he was a fat caterpillar.
Narrator: he was a super fat caterpillar full in his tummy then the caterpillar got fuller and fuller and then he got fatter and fatter and fatter.
Narrator: then he found himself a safe tree so he made himself a cocoon.
Narrator: after 19 days he turned into a butterfly! The End.
